Friday My Town Shoot Out

We have just had the most beautiful weekend here in the "Winterless North." After a very long and stressful week, we headed off to one of our many BEAUTIFUL beaches.

So on Saturday night, I popped out to one of our supermarkets and bought some ingredients and headed home - inspired by our photo shoot theme this week - and decided to make some food for a picnic on the beach.

So here's a pic of my little interpretation of "outdoor food."
(Hen and Chicken Islands in the background!)

It was a gorgeous day, and I have entered this week feeling on top of the world!

I then just have to add this AWESOME picture (well, at least I think it's awesome :) ) that I managed to catch - being in the right place at the right time!

Life is a beach!

  6. Thank you all for your lovely comments on my photos! I'll be popping over to all of your sites now :)
As a note: the pic of the shells was the wave washing in...I took the pic while jumping away as the water came in. The water still flowed in about another 2 or 3 meters...so although it looks like foam it's all the bubbles in the wave!
